Hailing from Camano Island, Washington, our journey has been rooted in raising our family and serving diligently in our local church. Over three years, we embraced the role of foster parents to eight children full-time, while also providing weekend respite care for 21 others. Our journey in fostering culminated in the adoption of two sets of siblings, marking a significant chapter in our lives.
Through these experiences, we witnessed firsthand the profound impact of abandonment on children. Seeking to further equip ourselves, we pursued extensive training in caring for non-biological children.
We believe that these life experiences have uniquely prepared us for our mission in Haiti. It is a tremendous blessing for us to serve alongside our children in this endeavor.

Our Journey to Haiti began in October 2013 when our family of nine answered a ten-year prayer for an opportunity to serve in the mission field. God opened the door for us to move to Haiti, guiding us through invaluable experiences that have shaped our mission. Eventually, we partnered with Mission of Grace, feeling incredibly blessed to collaborate with such an exceptional ministry.
Our home is located in Plaisance du Sud, approximately five hours west of Port-au-Prince, nestled in a vibrant bush community. It's about a 50-minute journey up a mountain to reach our peaceful haven.
